For the past few weeks we have been exploring new features and updating every aspect of our Easy Content Builder (ECB) app. It’s been a while in the making; now, we’re happy to keep you informed on the latest updates to the ECB app. This release focuses on adding new product page templates, improving the core components of the app, and adding new features like on-scroll animations and column/row gaps.
Enable animations on scroll
Easy Content Builder now supports the on-scroll animation, and it lets you apply different types of animation to elements within each section as you scroll down the page. Below are the different kinds of animation that are available for you to choose from:
- Slide up
- Fade
- Flip up
- Flip down
- Flip left
- Flip right
- Zoom in
Easy Content Builder - Scrolling Animations
It's easy to configure and add animations smoothly to any selected elements, such as text, images, and videos within a section - a great way to add interactivity to your Shopify pages and improve the user experience. As a side note, this feature is only available for the Easy Content Builder Pro version.

Improving Multi-column Layouts
As part of a multi-column layout, you can define the gap size between the columns/rows in a section layout. This gives you control to responsively space and align content within a section.
Below is an example of how the column gap lets us set the size of the vertical gap (gutter) between a section’s columns on our Easy Content Builder’s demo:

(NEW) 5 product detail page templates added
Yes, you now have five more new pre-built product templates that help you turn your free OS2.0 themes into premium ones without coding. You can use these pre-built templates to quickly develop your custom template with various app sections with specific blocks pre-built by the Easy Content Builder (ECB) app.
If you're new to the ECB app, we strongly recommend you head over to the product page here to see all the app's features. In short, the app allows you to install, add pre-built layouts & content blocks - such as Before/After Slider, Accordion, Featured Products, FAQs, Tabs, Photo/Video Galleries, Custom code, etc. - to your OS 2.0 theme, and customize in the Theme Editor.

Installation
We recommend that you download and install the Easy Content Builder app if you want to play with it on your own Shopify store.
